From your family session

I know that getting everyone together for a family photo session can feel daunting, but I’m here to make it easy and enjoyable. During your session, I’ll guide you through poses and interactions that feel natural and relaxed. Expect lots of laughs, genuine smiles, and moments that truly capture your family’s personality.

For the Black and White photo lovers, I also offer to switch any color photos to black and white for FREE!

Tips for a Great Family Session

Choose the Right Time

Schedule your session during a time when your family is most likely to be relaxed and happy. For younger children, this might mean choosing a time after naps or meals.

Coordinate Your Outfits

Select outfits that complement each other without being overly matching. Neutral tones or coordinating colors work great for a timeless look. Avoid busy patterns or large logos.Consider the setting of your session when picking colors—earthy tones for outdoor sessions, for example.

However, if planning outfits doesn't go to plan, that's okay too! Remember that family photos are about capturing your family the way they are right now.

Plan Ahead

Discuss the session with your family in advance so everyone knows what to expect.

Bring along any essentials like snacks, water, or a favorite toy to keep younger children engaged and comfortable.

Be Yourself

The best photos come from genuine interactions and emotions. Focus on enjoying the time together rather than posing perfectly.

Don’t worry if the kids are a little wiggly or shy; those moments can lead to beautiful, authentic shots.

Have Fun!

Think of the session as quality time spent with your family. When you’re relaxed and having fun, it shows in your photos.

All you need to do is relax and let me guide you through the session. I’ll provide direction as needed but also encourage moments to unfold naturally.
